| so i was helping this youngster out today with his math in the class i TA for at stillwater middle school and i realized something. . . this is what billy madison must have felt like! i was surrounded by over 2 dozen 7th graders, the chair i was sitting in was about a foot above the ground, my knees were touching the bottom of the table i was sitting at, and some the kids actually thought i was a new 7th grade student. i love my work study job; i get paid to help kids with their math. how cool is that? plus, i work around my class schedule, and the latest i will be at work is 4pm. by the time most students go to work, im done!
something ive realized ive been doing for the past 2 days is comparing things i buy to gallons of gas. like today when i bought my lunch for $7.35 i thought to myself, "that much money would buy almost 3 gallons of gas". and yesterday i had a tough time deciding whether to buy an incubus poster from the student union, or to save the money for gas. luckily i made the best choice possible: the poster.
im gonna burn so much gas this weekend with all my travelings, but its worth it, definitely worth it. . . |

| something has been bothering me. . . ok, well . . . you know what braille is right? well, its on signs under words for the blind to read, correct? my question is "how do they find the braille?". seriously, is there like a braille trail that leads them to the words? is a seeing-eye-dog trained to find these braille words on signs? i honestly dont know, and its really bugging me. so, if you have the answer to Q please let me know! i hate being in the dark (no pun intended. im not kidding).
